The Summer School at Florence University of Arts offers specialized art and culture courses for students aged 14 to 18 in the historic city of Florence. The program allows participants to choose two courses, each involving four weekly lessons, often conducted on-site at museums and landmarks rather than in traditional classrooms.
Accommodation is provided in the Convitta della Calza residence, a 16th-century building with modern amenities, where students stay in double rooms with private bathrooms. Meals are on a half-board basis, with breakfast and dinner at the residence and lunches at local eateries.
The daily schedule balances morning and afternoon academic sessions with a wide range of cultural activities. These include guided tours, culinary experiences, sports, river cruises, and social events. The program fee covers tuition, accommodation, half-board, all scheduled activities, materials, and airport transfers. Additional costs are flights and visa fees.
