Hosted on the historic UC Berkeley campus, this summer program provides an immersive language and cultural experience in the San Francisco Bay Area. Participants reside in shared university dormitories with full-board meal service. The schedule balances structured academics with on-campus sports, creative workshops, and a diverse lineup of evening social events and themed parties. A key feature is the comprehensive excursion program, which includes weekly full-day trips to iconic Bay Area landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman's Wharf, complemented by shorter visits to Chinatown, Golden Gate Park, and other local attractions.
